ok IT WAS ALMOST THAT BIG! My daughter found a ‘wolf spider’ and screamed loudly… I looked in that direction knowing by her scream that it was a spider; wife also come by, and all three of us just stared with open jaws at that thing, IT WAS /BIG/… easilly about 3 inches in diamater, it was FAT, GREY, HAIRY and _UGLY_ motherfucker!

Ok… so I took the plastic cup to try to pick it up and release it outdoors, but when both girls cried in unison “KILL IT!”, and one of the two had a flyswatter, I took the flyswatter… looked at the plastic cup in one hand… then looked at the spider that was almost as big as the cup’s opening… I considered that the thing could either escape or jump at me, making a bigger fuzz… I took the decision to use the flyswatter and making the necessary mental calculations like all good scientists/fencers… S-P-L-A-T!!!

THE BIGGEST OF ALL HORRORS, the thing just BURSTED all over my arm and face.

I could not stop screaming in horror and disgust, so I ran upstairs with one eye closed due to the guts of the damn spider oozing over my right eye, and jumping in the shower with clothes on.

I had a leg twitching IN MY EAR… the guts clingning to my face, fluids and hairs on the arm which had the flyswatter… OMfGs THE HORROR and how fucking GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

These things are not poisonous, but they do bite, and the legs and hairs gave me plenty of itching hours….. EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

ok CASI ASI DE GRANDE se encontró una “araña lobo” mi hija en la cocina y tiró un grito… me asomé sabiendo que era una araña’; también mi señora, los tres nos quedamos boquiabiertos, pero SI ESTABA GRANDE… pues CASI como la abertura de la taza, fácil unos 6cm de largo… PINCHE ARAÑOTA GORDA, GRIS, PELUDA Y _FEA_ la jijadelachingada.

Ok… tomé un vaso de plástico para recogerla y soltarla afuera, pero al unísono de las dos diciéndo “MÁTALA!”, y una de las dos tenía un matamoscas, tomé el matamoscas… miré el vaso de plástico en una mano… luego a la araña que estaba casi tan grande como la abertura… consideré que se me puede escapar o brincarme encima, haciendo mas alboroto… decidí tomar el matamoscas y midiendo el madrazo como buen científico/esgrimista… S-P-L-A-T!

CUAL FUÉ MI HORROR, cuando me SALPICÓ en el brazo y la CARA los RESTOS de la pinche arañota.

No dejé de gritar de ASCO en lo que corro al baño y me meto a la regadera con todo y ropa…

Tenía una pata EN EL OIDO… las tripas en la cara y fluidos y pelos en el brazo con el que la ejecuté…. NO MAMES…QUE HORROR Y QUE ASCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

No son venenosos, pero si muerden, y las patas y pelos me dieron comezón… WAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCAAAAAAAAAAAAA

- I actually feel like that piece of wood in the backyard in that story that comes out, about the father (and this has nothing to do with my actual dad, he’s cool, this is what that story said, or even if it was not the father, that’s how I remember it, dangit!) that had a very bad temper, and his son told him, “dad, instead of shouting at us when you feel bad, why don’t you hammer a nail into that piece of wood, until you learn to chill”. Then the father after many months after controlling his temper, his son then said “cool! now that you have controlled your temper, take off the nails you hammered in”; well he did, and he noticed that the board was FULL OF HOLES. Well, I just learned that they pulled the plug on that site back in 2004, and the creators have a new one called www.okcupid.com which kicks so much statistical ass! It’s a matchmaking site, but this one is free and has a whole shitload of tests if you are into that stuff (I sure am!).

Hoy temprano (bueno, a las 8:30am) me levanto a bañarme, por acá está lloviendo mucho y haciendo un chingo de frio.

Abro el grifo del agua caliente, pero no sale caliente, “ok no hay pedo, ahorita se calienta” y me aviento al agua helada.

1 minuto…. pinche agua ya tardó, ni pedo…

2 minutos, me estoy enjabonando y los pinches dedos HELADOS…

3 minutos, las uñas moradas y dejé de sentir los dedos…

nos terminamos de enjuagar y pa fuera!

Me visto con las prisas pero el frio me impide moverme rápido…

Bajo a calentar agua para un té o algo (le prometí al Dragón no tomar café hasta el domingo).

So, it’s my cousin, tells me that he found my car somewhere in Tijuana, and he asked me for gas money, I did not had any at the time and I

was really groggy to listen to anything (I was already dreamig for a few minutes). After he left, my wife was the one who could not sleep:

Wife: “He found the car”
CoolDragon: *sigh* “yep”
Wife: “And you told him to leave, what was wrong with the car?”
CoolDragon: *yawn* “The car has a missing tire, I can do that tomorrow, do you mind?”
Wife: “ok, go to sleep”

And then it hit me, HE FOUND MY STOLEN CAR! My CAR is back!!!!

CoolDragon: “wait, did you say that I said that it only has a missing tire?”
Wife: “yes, did you finally woke up?”
CoolDragon: “uh huh, MY CAR is back! yeah!, it only has a missing tire, what else? Oh wait, what if there is a BODY in the trunk! or

leftover drugs, or some poor shmoe’s ORGANS! Shit, I gotta go see my car”
Wife: “Why don’t you wait until morning?”
CoolDragon: “You are right, it’s 2am, that is why I married you, because you think for me at nights, thanks!”
Wife: *rolls eyes*

The phone rings, people start calling me because of my birthday. Cool! It’s also a good wakeup call, TIME to get the car back!

For that I called my uncle to pick me up and help me find the car, which was near some bank.

After driving around for a few minutes, we went to pick up the cousin that found the car at night. He directed us to the missing car. There

it was: Messy, broken window, fucked up ignition switch, missing tire, the inside is REALLY messy, and there was an empty can of bug spray

(which I never had in there). The seats look like the car went thru the Baja 1000.

No gas int he tank so I walked a quarter mile to get some, poured it in and started it up after getting a battery charge from my uncle’s pickup. COOL! it started! But it died halfway to the parking exit, we later found out that one of the gas tubes was loose, so we used good old black tape on it. So far the car made it home after pouring in more gas.

I made it home, with my car, now I have to call the police and tell THEM that I found it, so I won’t get into trouble (it’s kind of a unwritten law here in Mexico, you are guilty until you can prove otherwise, that goes for everything).

Ok, so I guess I’m stuck with my old car again, and to top it off, yesterday I went to the place where the State Government gives you your car plates, I went to report the car as stolen, the guy in across the counter told me if I wanted to put if off a couple of days in case I find the car, I said “nah, I’m not paying late registration fees for a car I don’t have”. Shit… but oh well, it’s my birthday!

I’m officially in my 30s. If you take a look at my pic in the main page, I really don’t look like it. It could be because of Avon products (j/k).
